Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the separate provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those search terms. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create ordinary logs such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate information to maintain the service and understand page traffic. Cookies or comparable tools may be used for basic analytics or advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the reference, address technical issues, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to county and state portals, archive and library collections, and separate search services. The receiving organization’s privacy policy governs information submitted on its service. This includes sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Providers that host or support the service process technical logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise stated here.
Security and Retention
The reference uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for the period needed for the stated purposes. There are no user accounts, passwords, or user profiles stored by this service.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has submitted information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Requests
Rights to access, correction, or deletion can vary by jurisdiction. Research did not identify an enacted Pennsylvania general data-broker registry, universal deletion right, or general consumer-data opt-out statute. Because this service retains very little, a request normally means checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page to ask. A Pennsylvania state, county, or municipal public record is controlled by its custodian, so correction or removal requests for that material belong with that office.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will appear on this page. Continued use after publication indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
